Deform exhibited at DSEI 2015 in London

DSEI and Eurosatory are among the biggest international exhibitions within defense industry. This year about 40000 visitors from all over the world visited about 1600 exhibitors at DSEI.

After regular exhibiting at Eurosatory since 2006, Deform set its booth at DSEI for the first time this year. During four hectic days we had a large number of interesting visits from both existing and new customers. Visitors got a better idea about our single piece 3D formed protection plates through seeing some samples. New clients were impressed by finding how our Deform:Method™ can provide them with unique protection solutions for both civil and military vehicles.

Among the samples on stands, a single piece firewall for Toyota Land Cruiser LC200 took considerable attention from visitors. We clearly demonstrated main differences between our single piece firewalls and those that are made using the conventional method of welding about 20-25 small pieces together. Decreasing weight, saving cost, repeatability in mounting, avoiding weld seams and achieving better protection are the main advantageous of using single piece firewalls.

We also showed some prototypes that are made out of fiberglass. Developing new pieces first in fiberglass is a cost effective way, because such full scale prototypes can be tested on vehicles before starting to make required press tools for real products.

We see huge opportunities in the field of 3D forming of high strength, wear resistance and armor steels, and are very confident about our strategy.
