Works of art

Deform has strengthened its position even more as a supplier of works of art made of steel materials in very complex shapes. This part of our operations started as a pleasant exception to the more usual range of industrial products, but now has a natural position in our production range and describes very well what Deform of today can produce.

Developments in this segment started as a co-operation with the Norwegian artist Per-Inge Björlo and the delivery of the entrance for the skating rink at Gövik in connection with the Olympic Games at Lillehammar in 1994. Since then we have manufactured and delivered large works of art in stainless steel. Some of these are located at Gardemoen Airport, the University of Karlstad, the railway station in Oslo, etc. The pleasant and profitable co-operation with Per-Inge Björlo will probably continue in the future for a long time.

Deform has now expanded its "group of artists" to include Frank O Gehry and Pål Svensson.
