Deform at IDEX in Abu Dhabi

Deform took part in IDEX. One of its exhibits, shown on SSAB’s stand, was a hot formed bulkhead in Armox 600.

Interest was very great and we now sell various bulkheads to some fifteen customers around the world. Several parts for vehicle protection are on the go and the trend is unambiguous. Three-dimensional hot formed plates improve protection, reduce the number of welds, increase repeatability and shorten installation times. We are now additionally seeing a trend towards customers requiring our solution as a part of vehicle protection!
