Reference project Power Tower

Deform has been appointed by Power Tower AB to deliver a completely new type of wind turbine foundation. The idea of the project is to develop a faster and more cost-effective assembly.  Deform's manufacture comprised rolling of shell, cutting, assembly and weld of flange.

The major challenges in the project were the size and thickness of the goods. With a diameter of more than 4 meters and a thickness of 100mm, it placed very high demands on our capacity and know-how.

Deform was responsible for a comprehensive commitment where we, together with subcontractors, delivered a high quality product with great precision.

The precision at site was of great importance when the large wind turbine tower was to be matched to the bolt circle.
