Deform has delivered hemispherical parts to Nakkila, Finland, which has an ongoing installation of a new paper mill storage tank for Södra Cell Värö, Sweden. We 3D-formed the parts into the hemisphere that is the upper part of the storage tank.

Free forming is an excellent method in the manufacture of one-piece 3D sheets. As the name suggests, no specific press tool is used, but with several upper tools and bottom tools we transform the shape in different steps.
