Our customer, CRAIG International Ballistics Pty Ltd, is a leading supplier within ballistic protection in Australia. Deform delivers single piece firewalls for Toyota LC200 to CRAIG, and believes that much more is yet to be delivered to Australia.
Our special method Deform:Method™ involves: hot forming of ballistic steels; quenching and tempering the plates; and, ensuring the original material properties are restored in the shaped products. As a result of this process, our customers will be able to use the 3D shapes that cannot be formed using cold forming. Our customers can also avoid integrity weakening welds at critical points. We offer scanning of complex shapes, generating 3D data sets, providing prototypes, making tools, and finally manufacturing and supplying the ready-to-use single piece protection modules directly to our customers’ assembly lines.
