Deform possesses a unique competence in 3D-formed protection of ballistic plates. We hot form and "destroy" the properties of the steel, after which we quench & temper and restore the ballistic properties of the plates - without losing the desired shape – Deform:MethodTM.
Our customers can avoid welds and / or move weld seems with improved ballistic properties as a result. At the same time, the mountability and repeatability increase when you ballistically protect, for example, a series of Toyota Land Cruisers with the UN as the end customer.
We have satisfied customers all over the world and have many vehicle-unique tools for, for example, floors and firewalls (bulkheads). Toyota LC200, Toyota Hilux, Isuzu D-Max, VW T6, Nissan Patrol are examples of civilian vehicles - but we also have several military customers where we manufacture three-dimensional ballistic protection as well as protection against mines and IEDs (Improvised Explosive Devices)
