Successful delivery to Tratec Halvorsen in Norway
In 2018, Deform carried out a successful delivery of rolled shell sections which our customer Tratec Halvorsen mounted and welded together into two finished pressure vessels.
The end customer was Statoil and the challenge in the project was the choice of materials (Duplex stainless steel 1.4462) in combination with the tight requirements for hole making for tube connectors and manholes. We used our laser tracker for measurement and hole placement - with very successful results.
We are now looking forward to several future collaborations with Tratec Halvorsen!
